Simon Lee is the Regional Chief Operating Officer at AXA, Hong Kong. He is also a Fellow in CAS and Associate in SOA. His current key responsibility is to enhance the adoption of predictive analytics at AXA. In his career, he managed multiple data sharing agreement among multiple institutions and led to triple digit uplift in financial KPIs. He published multiple papers on machine learnings in academic journals and received the best paper award. The application of the innovation leads to simultaneous improvement of loss ratio, new business acquisition and retention for a major insurer in North America.

Working at the intersection of smart cities technology, city planning and policy development, Michelle currently leads urban analytics initiatives for the City of Redwood City in Silicon Valley.  A political scientist by training and a city planner, Michelle leverages the use of AI-enabled technologies and analytics to inform urban growth and transportation strategies, policy initiatives and city government operations.  Through public/private partnerships, she works with startups to co-design digital tools that enhance the delivery of public services

Ahmed is a machine learning / artificial intelligence authority with keen interest in innovation. He leads the data science and design thinking teams part of Equinor’s Digital Centre of Excellence. Ahmed is focused on creating innovative machine learning / AI driven products that support the DCoE’s strategic mission. Before joining Equinor, Ahmed successfully founded and grew a ML/AI technology startup that builds products for clients in various industries. Ahmed built his expertise with top technology firms such as SAS, Paypal and Google. Ahmed holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in computational mechanics. He also holds post-graduate degrees in Management and Economics.

George has more than 30 years of analytics experience, primarily in Financial Services. Initially in the UK with Experian and MBNA (now BoA); for the last 16 years in Asia, leading the regional 
consumer analytical teams at American Express, Citibank and HSBC. Within Financial Services, George has experience in the end-to-end customer lifecycle - using analytics to drive product design and pricing, sales and marketing effectiveness, risk optimisation, operations and 
distribution.

Jiradett is currently the Deputy Director of Data Analytics Unit, Bank of Thailand. His background is in computer science specialized in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance System (C4ISR). For the last decade, he has been working as a 
researcher in the defence domain. His research topic include Artificial Intelligence, Machine (Deep) Learning especially on Computer Vision, Data Analytics, Big Data, and Tactical Network.
 

Sigrid is currently leading the data science and visualization team at SGX. She moved to Singapore 10 years ago to finish her PhD in Statistics, jointly conducted at A*STAR (GIS) and  Université Paris Sud. After her post doc, she decided to move to the private sector gaining experience in several industries, namely FMCG, Telco and Finance. Her current role is toestablish and grow the data science capability and team at SGX.

Sandy Roque is the Assistant Vice-President and Head of Analytics of PLDT/Smart Enterprise Business. He leads all initiatives that analyzes internal data and merges information from external sources such as market research and other industry studies enabling the Business with more thoughtful analysis based on transactional and behavioral data merging with qualitative and quantitative studies and used as input for revenue generation, acquisition and business development and most importantly, developing insights-based decision making capability for retention and loyalty for PLDT Enterprise.

Athiratt is currently running the Smart data team at FWD Life Insurance Thailand. His expertise lies within managing data science and engineering teams to transform business using AI / Machine-learning. He has experience in setting-up modern big data platform. He was based in Singapore for 7 years, spending his time working on both Life and Non-life business at Allianz SE Insurance Asia Pacific as Director of Data Science, as well as in Digital agencies to help improve marketing, sales, service, fraud using innovative data & AI solutions. At the time in Allianz, He and his team created data-driven innovation solutions that some of them had received top regional awards.

Michelle has over over 10 years of experience conducts key analysis on Business Analytics, Applied Data Science, Supply and Demand Forecasting, Crop Yield Modeling and Risk Analytics, Spatio-temporal Analytics, Operational Research and Precision Farming at Del Monte in her role as an Analytics Manager.

Mia is an experienced Analytics Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. She is skilled in Analytical Skills, Statistical Data Analysis, Management, Insurance, and Risk Management and is a strong research professional with a BS Mathematics focused in Mathematics and Statistics from University of the Philippines.

Melecio is currently the Head of Data Architecture and Governance for FWD Philippines and has more than 5 years of Data Governance experience. He has piloted a Data Warehouse application in Maybank Philippines and developed various data models in consolidating multiple source systems to generate single source of data while establishing Data Stewardship council which focuses on addressing Data quality-related issues. Previously worked in QBE Philippines where he successfully strengthened the team's capability in establishing a Data Center of excellence across all Divisions focusing on data quality, Meta data, Reference and Master data management.

Marco is currently the Business Intelligence and Analytics Head (Philippines) and Central Data Scientist at FrieslandCampina. In a career spanning 15 years he has also worked at Procter & Gamble in various roles like Business Analyst, Asia Regional Leader - Market Estimates and Projections, Global Business Services and Global Service Manager - Market Estimates and Projections, Global Business Services.

Edmund has over 15 years of management experience with passion in marketing strategy, information technology, and human capital development with a motto of “Invest in People”. As the CTO at PT Teknologi Tujuh he is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects, data analytics and operations of the company.  He establishes a technological vision for an organization and leads the company's technological development. He is responsible for Overseas Recruitment from India and China to ensure high quality workforce and works with Executive Management to grow the company through the use of technological resources.
